Week 10 Is it the saddest end or the greatest start?

Hello, my dear Everyone!

 It is a very sad week, isn't it? We should say "Good bye!" to everything which became very close for us for these 10 weeks. We never saw each other but we are like one big family and sometimes I saw that somebody of us has the same thoughts when we discussed our topics or some themes:)

As for me I liked EVERYTHING in the Course! I have so much information and new knowledge! I'll try to change my teaching practice and to demonstrate my collegues all interesting and useful sides of using Interactive Tools at the lessons to increase pupils' interest to the learning! As for my pupils I'm sure they all liked using my website for discovering aims. I understood my pipils coldn' find anything which is useful for them. It is very hard for them to sort the use from the disutility - they are confused! But with the help of using such great interactive tools like Teacher's Websites, Padlet or Interactive PPT children get the great chance to see the wide learning world and its infinity!!!

From the other hand it is the wonderful week of our "NEW" teaching practice!

Week 9 Sadness and Joy at the same time!!!

Hello, Everyone!

This week I'm sad a little bit - our Course is almost to the end:(

But at the same time I'm very happy -  as a teacher thanks to this Course I have so much ideas and useful thoughts about my teaching practice!!!

I'm sure everybody of my course mates has such different feelings, too. I'd like to ask them about it if we could be at one big round friendly tea - table!!! The most wonderful idea - to end our Course together drinking tea and have a very interesting discussion about our impressions about the Course! I'm sure their answers about it will be very interesting and maybe even a little funny!!!

Week 8 a teacher, a student and a judge!!! So different roles, so difficult choice!!!

Hello, everyone! 

This week everybody of us had different roles: we are pupils of this course, we are teachers - it is our profession and we were judges of the report projects of our course mates!

As for me it was the most difficult to be a judge because this is a very serious and responsible work to help a course colleague to look at his or her work from the other side. 

At the same time my work was judged, too. Now I understand the great necessity of my partner's remarks for improving my project report. Now I can say that mutual checking helps to see all weak points and to make the work better.

I'd like to use this kind of checking in my teaching practice with my pupils. I'm sure it will give them chance to be more serious, thoughtful and attentive.

Week 7 Padlet? Padlet! WOW! PADLET!!!

Every my course week I become happier because I see the results of my learning in my pupils. 

When I read about Padlet the first time it was just a task for me which should be done but when I used it I was happy like a baby who got a new toy. Now I'm sure that all tools should be considered like toys but USEFUL TOYS which bring new knowledge. In this case I see the biggest profit of using Padlet in my teaching practice. I'm sure this tool will give a great chance to develop my pupils' creativity and their wish to find and learn more and more! Now I understand the meaning of the words "Learner Autonomy". It is like free swimming but with great pleasure and the biggest profit!

Week 6 Mixed thoughts!

So, our sixth week is to the end and just now I really understand the importance of my work for me but at first for my pupils! I watch them every lesson and see the great changes. They want to know more and more. Sometimes we don't listen to the break bell. They ask me, "Oksana Valeryevna, what are we going to do the next lesson?" I make my face very serious and mysterious..... and keep silence because I don't know what will our next lesson look like? 

Every day I go home and begin to work. I really like all things which happen in this course. It looks like a fairy tale where I and my pupils get in every time. Let's this fairy tale won't finish very long.....

All my thoughts now are about the Final Project where I want to describe all my pupils' changes and of course, mine ones, too! I think that everything which has connection with computers and Internet is very popular between pupils. It gives them a chance to be more active and involved. It is the best idea to use Interactive tools for increase pupils' learning motivation at the lessons! And if I want to have the high motivated students I should use all modern tools at my lessons!

Week5 Interesting - more interesting - the most interesting!!!

Ahhh! This is exactly the word that passes all my emotions for this week! So much wonderful and sometimes I'm afraid to loose something. That is why I make notes and put + if I did it.
The most interesting work for me is creating a rubric!  I'm very proud to be the first in my school who can create it! It gives me so many possibilities to use rubrics at every lesson and for any activities! I want to learn more and more!!! 

Week 4: WOW!!! So much ...!!!

So, the fourth week comes to the end! So many interesting things which I've known and so much I want to share with my group mates!

For me it is a very interesting way how to make my lessons more interesting and involve into the learning process not only my pupils but even their parents who will be interested in their children's progress so much because they'll have a great chance to watch it and help their children if they'll need.

Pig & Cookie

When I see the great work of my group mates I remember one funny video about the pig and cookies and one wonderful motto "Never give up!!!" Everybody in our group is a real proof of this motto! If we want to get something we must understand how to get it and GET IT IN ANY CASE!!!

My work for my gifted pupils!

Week 3 Interesting thought!

Have you ever stayed on the highest bridge for jumping?

 You are afraid of it but you want to do it so much:)

I compare my participating in this course to the jumping! It is very fearfully to study because there is so MUCH information but it is very tempting to study because there is so much INTERESTING information!!!

New Thoughts!

What a wonderful work I've done this week! I'm very proud of the fact that I could do so much for not so long time! But there were some difficulties. For example I didn't understand the ABCD Objective work at once. I was so frustrated but I decided to do everything to the best end. I've found so many materials and links for reading. Now I'm very interested in what I do. As for my first steps in the work about Project Task#1, when I began to ask my pupils many questions about Internet and their digital devices they told me so much interesting and together we decided to make on big project "Using Digital Devices at the English lessons: for and against". My pupils collect all appropriate materials because it will be not just an usual project but we decided to organize debates about the theme of our project. I'm afraid a little bit because they prepare all by themselves. It was their own wish. But I understand that they need it and of course, I need it, too

Week 2 - Websearching

Hello Everyone!

If you read this message it means that I am here again! :)

I thought I know how to use Internet and find useful information as for me so for my students but today I understand that Internet is so wide that I could spend whole my life but I couldn't explore the hundredth part of all that is in this Great Web. My pupils like the moments the best when I ask them to make a project or any creative works and find information in Internet. It looks like a game but I understand that this game becomes more than just a game and produces results imperceptibly. As for me so for my students websearching is the greatest results work where everybody of my pupils can feel that he or she can do more than he or she is expected of.

This is a Diploma of my student who won a Competition in 2014. Without my help he found the site which held this competition. He asked me to help him and we did it. It was so wonderful as for him so for me, too!
Every time I make my pupils to do something more than they can. They used to find something new and interesting for them. They come at the English lessons not for only to learn new grammar or a rule they want to know more and more and sometimes I can't keep up with them. They use so many devices and earlier I was so frustrated. It seemed to me that my lessons were boring and my pupils found the ways to have a good time. One day I decided to benefit from those things which prevented me. I offered my pupils to find and report at our lessons the information which was interesting for them. Oh, it looked like the great craziness and I understood the greatest usefulness of Websearching. Sometimes Iwas so excited to listen to my students.When my pupils say "Oksana Valeryevna, it is so easy!", I embarrass a little bit but at once I try "to catch the wave" as my children say:) because it is very important for me to know what they know and to do what they can do. As for me, my pupils and their big wish to know look like a good sign that my work is effectual!!

Week1 Thoughts

So many impressions of all that is happening. I always admire people who do not stand still, and try to learn something new and interesting. The beginning of the work - our acquaintance looks like a holiday where many strangers came. They learn, communicate and become like one big happy family. I hope very much that it will happen in our case and we can be one big family and work together for the best results.
As for me - I live in a small but the most wonderful town in the world. If you don't believe me I invite you and you'll see I'm right!

As for my profession, it is not just work for me. It is something special. I think everybody agrees that to be a teacher is too hard but it's very interesting. I understand the sense of my work when I see my pupils and their results. Then I understand my efforts aren't meaningless. Every lesson I try to give my students something new and interesting. That's why I'm very happy to learn this course. It gives me a great opportunity to make my lessons more interesting and deeper!
